Brian Abrams is currently Managing Partner at Row Capital, a transactional advisory firm connecting investors and companies in the US with those in emerging markets such as India. He was previously Founder and CEO of G2 Analytics, a market research firm with operations in the US and India. Before that, he worked in private equity at Bard Capital and on mergers and acquisitions at Level 3 Communications. Brian also serves on the boards of KIPP Colorado (a group of chartered schools in Denver), The Eagle Fund (focused on education in Colorado), and the Presidential Scholars Association (a national organization of top high school students selected by a commission of the President).
Jeffrey Castellano lives and works in Wilmington, Delaware. He is a patent attorney with the law firm Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, and focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. He previously worked at the District Attorney's office in Queens, and prior to law school, he was an analyst at a geopolitical consulting firm in Washington, DC. Jeff loves Scorcese movies, cooking, and road trips.
Neelendu (Neel) Dey lives in San Francisco with his wife. He is a gastroenterology fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. He studies the role of intestinal microbial communities in health and disease, with a focus on inflammatory bowel disease. Interests also include conservation and music.
Amit Doshi lives in New York City with his wife. He works at Tiger Global Management, a private investment firm. Amit previously worked as a private equity investor at Madison Dearborn Partners and as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He is a co-founder of the Social Enterprise Club at Harvard College and of Prize4Life, an organization which uses incentive awards to seek an effective treatment for ALS. Amit holds JD, MBA and AB degrees from Harvard University.
Matt Humbaugh lives in New York with his wife. He works at Emerging Sovereign Group, an emerging markets-focused investment firm. Prior to ESG, Matt worked as a commercial banker in South Africa and a business development adviser for the United Nations Development Programme. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. Matt holds a BA and MA from Harvard University, and an M.Sc. from Oxford University. Matt enjoys reading and vigorous debate.
Bryan Leach lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife and two daughters. He works as a trial attorney at the law firm of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott LLP. Before joining Bartlit Beck, Bryan served as a law clerk to Justice David Souter at the United States Supreme Court and Judge Jose Cabranes on the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In addition to his involvement with Grafton Street Fund, Bryan also serves on the Boards of KIPP Colorado Schools and the Association of Marshall Scholars
Michael Lin lives in Chicago with his wife. He is a radiology resident at Northwestern University Memorial Hospital with specialty interests in breast and body imaging. Prior to his career in medicine, he worked as an associate at Towers Perrin in Boston. Michael holds a BA from Harvard University and an MD from Case Western School of Medicine. He enjoys weight training, running, and traveling in his spare time.
Peter Meyerdirk lives in San Francisco with his wife Liz. After working in investment banking and private equity, Pete founded Ozarka Investments, which invests in wineries and wine-related businesses in Northern California. He is currently working on a project to acquire and redevelop one of California's oldest wineries. Pete spends his spare time surfing, cooking, and learning about viticulture.
Theo Shybut lives in Houston with his wife and border terrier. He is a sports medicine fellow at the Baylor College of Medicine. He holds an AB from Harvard University and an MD from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons. Jim Stewart is currently a Hospitalist at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT where he lives with his wife and labrador retriever. He will soon return to his Atlanta, where he grew up, and to Emory University, where he received his medical degree, in order to begin a cardiology fellowship. Jim daydreams of one day improving public health both as a physician and a yeoman farmer.
Dave Walker lives in Seattle with his wife and son. He has spent his career to date working as a software engineer at Microsoft, in the Windows Kernel Group. His areas of focus have included platform hardware architecture, system bootstrap, Plug n' Play, and server scalability. He is patiently waiting for the opportunity to take his son to a Sonics game.
Grant Wiens lives in Seattle with his wife, Robyn. He is an attorney with Dionne & Rorick, focusing on education and municipal law.
